IM LS6 is a Hottest Model with 6,000 Units booked in 8 Hours

The exhibition zone of SAIC Motor also featured a pavilion of a rising auto brand named IM Motors—a brand jointly invested by SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development. With a track record in launches of popular models like IM L7 sedan and IM LS7 crossover, IM Motor expanded its product portfolio once again with an electric coupe SUV named IM LS6. With silicon carbide electric drivetrain, this new model supports a maximum charging power voltage at 900 V and a peak power voltage upon use at 875 V. Moreover, its 396 kW battery cells ensure the car can go as long as 200 km with a recharge for only five minutes and 500 km after a recharge for 15 minutes. In terms of technologies, the new IM LS6 packs more than 100 new and advanced technologies including a globally recognized navigation system called IM AD, AI-based, one-push-of-a-button assistance systems to assist acceleration, parking, reverse driving, and location tracking. For driver, the “Intelligent Cockpit” is befitted with a proprietary “Full Frame Digital Instrument Cluster.” Other notable technologies to maximize safety and minimize blind spots for the driver also include a suite of "Scene Labels + Fusion Perception + MR Enhanced Display + Image Algorithms." The new IM LS6 is a 4WD electric SUV with a dual motor setup and it is available in two guises: the Low-Power Version with 170 kW of peak front motor output and 304 kW for the rear and the High-Power Version with 200 kW of peak front motor output at 379 kW. Resulted from a perfect combination of performance, design, and advanced technologies, more than 6,000 units of IM LS6 were booked in just eight hours and SAIC Motor is currently envision on launching IM LS6 as a global model after MG4 which was introduced back in 2022.
