MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the distributor of world-renowned British car brand MG, is launching the new Sport SUV, the NEW MG GS 1.5-litre turbo 167 HP, at the 33rd Motor Expo, or the Thailand International Motor Expo, at IMPACT Challenger Hall at Muang Thong Thani. This follows on the successful launch of the MG GS 2.0-litre earlier this year. At the Motor Expo, MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., will also launch the MG3 with its new trim with two-tone colour, adding even more fun to its smart sporty design.

The NEW MG GS 1.5-litre is the result of MG’s commitment to developing products to fully and totally meet today’s customer’s needs, while also increasing the competitiveness of MG in the market, as MG moves forward and aims long term growth in Thailand.

The NEW MG GS 1.5-litre with the TGI-TECH engine has a direct fuel injection engine system that provides enhanced power capabilities with safety assurance, and its direct injection offers 167 HP at 5,600 rpm and maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1700-4400 rpm with fuel E85. It also has MG's inkaNet system which helps the MG owner to connect and communicate with their MG car, a unique feature provided by MG to its customers, ensuring every convenience and comfort is available for MG owner’s needs, specific to their lifestyles. The starting price is THB 890,000 for 1.5 D trim and THB 990,000 for the 1.5 X trim.

Not only will the NEW MG GS 1.5-litre be displayed at the MG booth at the Motor Expo, there will also be on show for the first time the MG3 with its lively new trim. The NEW MG3 still retains the Brit Dynamic concept but now offers a new spark of fun and excitement, under the theme “Hello Fun.” MG will introduce the V trim, which consists of special add-ons to the existing C, D, and X trims, with eye catching back spoilers and two-tone color side skirts, as well as a new 16-inch alloy wheel. Of its many prominent features, the two-tone color will surely brighten up the city lifestyle, and is available in Ruby Red – Black Top and Tudor Yellow – White Top. All the characteristics have been specially created and designed by MG’s UK Technical Design Centre, certainly making MG “The Captivating Car”.
