Bangkok – 27^th July 2023 – SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd., and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd.—authorized manufacturer and distributor of MG cars in Thailand—once again reaffirmed MG’s position as a pioneer in Thailand’s fast-growing market of EVs by winning “No.1 Brand Thailand 2023” in the category of “EV Car” for two consecutive years. In addition to be recognized as an honor reflecting trust and confidence in the brand MG as a “EV Pioneer brand”, it also proves MG’s capabilities to be a preferred choice of consumers with its wide variety of EVs and its comprehensive ecosystem.  To date, MG is the brand with highest number of EV models for Thai customers to choose namely an electric SUV like MG ZS EV, electric station wagon models including MG EP and MG ES, a rear-wheel drive electric hatchback like MG4 ELECTRIC, as well as a luxury MPV like NEW MG MAXUS 9. 13,000 MG EVs units are on streets of Thailand according to latest statistics and MG is the only EV brand in Thailand with its own network of chargers. 135 MG SUPER CHARGE chargers are now operational Thailand-wide. MG is now investing in battery production facility to prepare for local production of EVs and lay a foundation to prioritize Thailand as its “EV Hub” for export in ASEAN region.
