Bangkok, December 1, 2015 – SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and official distributor of world renowned British automobile “MG”, today unveiled “MG CS”, a concept SUV car with outstanding British-style design for the first time in Thailand and in ASEAN, and publicly released “NEW MG5”, the latest model of MG subcompact car, aiming to crack the Thai subcompact car market and to increase its market share, in the Motor Expo 2015.

Exterior - another level of sporty design that attracts all eyes
NEW MG5, a 4-door Coupe-style car, is the newest model from MG aiming to break the subcompact car market. It has a distinguished sleek and nimble design that reflects European premium standard. Its V-shape bonnet was inspired by the curves on the Union Jack flag of the UK, the country in which MG’s legend was established.

Interior - as roomy as a compact car
NEW MG5 comes with the cabin as spacious as in a compact car. The passenger room is very comfortable, with 1,804 mm width and 1,488 mm height, leaving more space overhead. The under-seat storage comes in handy when managing small items in the car. The upholstery was made from high-quality materials including leather, which comes in two tones: black and beige. Other features are simply designed but put together in an apt and stylish composition. Unify all control via the centre console, with sleek and stylish design.
